As irrigation industry professionals it is our responsibility to ensure each landscape's health can be maintained using as little water as possible.

As water managers we can affect the quantity and quality of our water supplies. It is imperative that we do what ever we can to effectively use our water resources.

Does it cost more to develop an irrigation system that has the ability to be conservative of the water resource than one that is wasteful? Of course it does, but the return on investment is usually a very short time. Beyond the return on investment the land development community as a whole is responsible for managing the water resources to ensure they are still viable for generations to come.
